Sinocan Realty Corp. (“Sinocan”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the rights available to you under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations.

For the purposes of the Act, Sinocan Realty Corp. is the Personal Information Controller for information submitted through this website.

1. Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not purchase personal information from third parties.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records limited technical data when you visit — including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and the time of the visit. This is used for security and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use it to identify you personally.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to:

• respond to your leasing inquiry and answer your questions;
• send you materials you have asked for, such as floor plans or the marketing kit;
• arrange and confirm site viewings;
• discuss and negotiate commercial terms where you have asked us to;
• keep an internal record of inquiries for our leasing operations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we will not add you to unrelated marketing lists without asking you first.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal information on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box and submit the inquiry form, and, where applicable, on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a lease. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the contact details in section 9.

4. Who we share it with

Your information may be shared with the following parties, strictly for the purposes described above:

• Terra Solutions Realty Corp. — our appointed marketing and leasing representative for Sinocan Corporate Center, who may handle your inquiry on our behalf;
• Service providers who operate our email and website infrastructure, who process data only on our instructions;
• Government authorities or regulators, where we are required to disclose information by law or valid legal process.

We do not otherwise disclose your information to third parties. Where a service provider processes data outside the Philippines, we take steps to ensure that the information remains protected to a standard consistent with the Data Privacy Act.

5. How long we keep it

We retain inquiry records only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected, and thereafter for as long as needed to meet our legal, regulatory and legitimate business requirements. Inquiries that do not proceed are reviewed periodically and securely disposed of when no longer required. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. These fall into two groups:

• Necessary — required for the site to load, display correctly and remain secure. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics — where enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, in aggregate. IP addresses are anonymised. This tells us which pages are useful; it does not tell us who you are.

We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers to retrieve them. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work.

7. How we protect your information

This website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We apply organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, and we limit access to personnel who need it to respond to your inquiry. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously.

8. Your rights under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Be informed that your personal information is being collected and processed;
• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Object to the processing of your personal information;
• Rectify inaccurate or incorrect information;
• Erasure or blocking — to suspend, withdraw or order the removal of your information;
• Data portability — to obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic format;
• Damages — to be indemnified for inaccurate, false or unlawfully obtained use of your data;
• Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
